Can be converted to be compatible with BCC3443/ BCC3442. 

Suitable for XJ40 91-92 VIN range 629285 to 667828. But it could also be used on 86-90 models (before VIN 629285) too, but you would need to change the electrical connector plug over from your existing failed solenoid. Same two wires, same colours.

Tested working. Used condition.

Important note- when fitting, the latches must be very well lubricated, so that the solenoid is not trying to work against a latch that’s way too stiff. The latches should be lubricated at least every 5 years. Most seem to have never been done yet, which makes them way too stiff for the locking solenoids to work.  
If your latches are not adequately lubricated, the solenoid may not fully operate the lock system.
