Jaguar XJ40 Trunk Boot remote release solenoid and switch upgrade for 94 models. This was an optional part on 94 models, and not many actually had it fitted originally. 
Plug & play parts to fit a remote boot release system onto 1994 XJ40. The wiring looms are all there already, to plug these in. 
the switch fits under the centre console next to the security switch, where you see a blank cover plate. 
the plug is taped away on the loom below, it’s immediately obvious under the blanking cap, 
Includes any necessary fixing screws. Ready to fit.
