This adapters allows you to fit a modern aftermarket head unit into your 91-94 XJ40, without needing to cut and solder any cables. Plug & play part. 

Only suitable for VIN range 629286 to 708757, that use the Alpine 9100R & 9200R original head units. 

its not suitable for 86-90 models with the Clarion stereos. VIN Range 500001 to 629285.
