Limited Warranty-

Most used parts offered for sale come with a 30 day limited warranty, unless otherwise stated in each listing. This covers the face value of the part only. It does not cover any costs that might be incurred when fitting or handling the part. Shipping costs may also be reimbursed up to a point, if a part is found to be faulty within that 30 day period, from the date of sale.
Please note, leaving a part on shelf in a workshop for a year, then fitting it, and finding a fault, does not fall within a 30 day warranty period.

It’s important to understand the distinct difference between buying/ fitting used parts, compared to brand new items.
Even if they were working at the time of testing, no one can say how long they will last, before any issues might arise, especially for electronics. Parts don’t always need a “reason” to fail. Buyers need to acknowledge there’s always an element of risk associated with utilising used parts that are between 25-40 years old. In an ideal world everyone would like to have brand new parts with 12 month warranty for all these parts, but they mostly don’t exist, so these used parts are the next best compromise.
