Project car, No MOT, rolling restoration. This car has a lot going for it, plenty of plus points, but like most X308 at this age, it needs some work to move it forward. I took it on as a project three years ago, and have done some minor work, but I am looking to reduce my collection of project cars now.

The engine and gearbox are lovely and smooth. Great condition, no obvious leaks noted.

Most of the electrics work unless otherwise noted.

Very nice condition interior.

Paint is shiny and presentable from a distance, but up close there’s the usual assortment of paint imperfections, some lacquer peel on the left front wing top

Bumpers are tidy, not scuffed on the corners like most of them,

Work done in my ownership

Replaced OSR rear lamp

Refitted rear bumper end caps

Fitted Starburst wheels x5 (came on dimples).

Full size (matched) spare wheel, not the more usual space saver.

LH knock sensor replaced used. Both now read 200Ma.

Number plate screw covers replaced.

Air filter replaced

One coil pack replaced to cure a misfire.

Engine and transmission are in good working order, smooth and quiet. No notable issues to report.

Notable faults.

Boot unlock button not working/ works on interior button

The fault codes have been scanned

ABS RH front speed sensor is being flagged on the code reader C1145. This is creating the “restricted performance” warning.

I can replace this sensor for the new owner if the full asking price is met.

Headlining pinned. It’s not hanging down, though it would need recovering if you want it to look perfect,

Fuel gauge sender unit faulty, so the fuel gauge reads empty. The fuel tank is half full though, hence why I can’t change the faulty send yet. it’s a cheap part around £25/ 20minute job to change, when the fuel level is low enough to access without spilling fuel.

Rust. Nsf wing lower/ OSF rust hole

Rear a frame mounts crusty/ need cleaning up,

Corrosion in the usual places on the floors.

This is the main issue affecting the car I would say,

Jacking points look good though.
