Jaguar XJ40 86-89 boot lock latch remote release

Fits 86-89 3.6/2.9 XJ40 models only. (Battery under bonnet). Not suitable for 4.0/3.2 models.
latch only, no key or barrel.

It could be used on facelift XJS in place of BEC4568, but the electrical plug needs changing.

please note, remote locking operation can be very temperamental on these. I can not guarantee long term operation of the remote locking. I have lubricated the motor and mechanism to give it the best chance though, but the motors are not strong.
